Logo Design + Identity

Tether is a full-service marketing company based in Maryland delivering complete strategies for small independent business in the active outdoor industry, and we occasionally partner with them on larger scale projects. When our partnership began, they hired us to create a logo and identity exemplary of their target audience.

We went through extensive logo research and worked on many drafts after settling on the right one. The owner being an avid outdoorsman and sailor, the final logo resulted in a combination of a mountain and a mainsail connected by a carabiner (mostly used in climbing) riding on a wave. Their logo is unique, easily identified and in the world of marketing, that means a lot.
